Blair is beautiful! I love her markings. She sounds like a wonderful setter. That looks to be a pretty big ruffed grouse she's holding. Her and Heath will have awesome pups. I hope we'll get to see pictures of them on your blog and hear about them in future blogs.

Seems like it was just yesterday when we were watching last years litter of Spice and Rivers pups grow. Tucker (from last years litter) watches the videos with me keeping an eye on his brothers and sisters.

I have been playing the video for patients in my clinic! They are picking their favorites for us, and potentially for their future hunting companions.

We just finished up breeding Paint to River. Will know if she is pregnant in about 3 weeks. Pepper is also in heat and will be bred to Heath. Hopefully we will have two litters born late May/early June.

Yes, I know how anxious expectant parents can be!

Hi Cliff and lisa,

Just wondering how the heats and breeding is going?

You know how the new parents can be.

Congratulations on a beautiful litter of pups. I look forward to watching them grow. Spice had them on Blue and Suzies birthday too! I think May is the perfect time to bring home a puppy, winter over and lots of time in the summer to socialize and play, then going into bird season at 6 months old, ready for some exposure and introductions. Gosh I wish I was ready to bring another pup home! Thanks for sharing pictures with us!
