Hazel was from an outcross to the Pinecoble line. She did very well handling Grouse and Woodcock in her first season, pointing some of the first few birds she found, and matured into an excellent bird dog. She hunted at close range, was an outstanding retriever, and was very easy to train. Hazel was the perfect example of the classic, close working, natural bird dog. She produced three fine litters for us. OFA Good
