Litters
We generally produce three or four litters per year, born between February and July. Litters are whelped inside our house and we spend all the time necessary to ensure the puppies remain healthy, well socialized, and prepared to begin basic obedience training.
Puppies are given a thorough examination by a veterinarian before being placed and are guaranteed healthy when ready to go to their new home. Dogs we produce are also guaranteed against hip dysplasia and other genetic or congenital health problems.
Reserve a Puppy
A deposit of $500 is required to reserve a puppy. We maintain a list of reservations, and selections are made by the purchasers in the order their deposits were received. An additional $1900 plus Idaho sales tax is due at time of pick up or delivery of the puppy.
We require that all puppies purchased from us have their hips x-rayed at six months for OFA preliminary evaluation, and we refund $400 to help cover costs incurred by the owner at that time. Info on why we require this can be found here: October Setters Hip Program
2024 litters are Heather x Talus, Ginger x Coulter, Dusty x Talus, and Lily x Coulter.
