Spice x River Pups 7/7/11

These clips of Spice’s pups were taken this evening.  The boys are much more active now and are just getting good at playing.  There is one orange belton (sleepyhead in the video), and it looks like the rest are blue.  The purple stains are still there, but looking a bit more brown now- one of these days we’re going to have to ask the vet what he used.

Ohhhhhhhhhh, I can’t wait to see them in the flesh! How can anyone chose just one? It’s going to be a tough decision!

It is tough to pick, in the end I sort of let the pup pick me, everytime I called he came in, little tail wagging. On the ride home “Blue” woke up from sleeping on my feet, crawled up on my lap, licked my chin, looked at my husband who was driving, wagged his tail, and went back to sleep. I couldn’t be happier with our new pal and hunting buddy. In the end I believe that any pup from an October Setter litter would be the right pick!! Good luck, I can’t wiat to bring my next pup from Lisa and Cliff home.

“Timber” was our first pup from Cliff and Lisa, and we let HIM pick us. I think you are right, any pup will be the right pup no matter which one picks us! We can’t wait to bring home Timber’s new buddy! I will look forward to holding him in my lap for the long drive home.

I RECIEVED MY PUP FROM THE RIVER ,CAMAS LITTER AND I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. WHAT A WONDERFUL PUP. SHE SEEMS TO BE A NATURALLY INTELLIGENT DOG AND VERY PEOPLE ORIENTED. BONDED TO ME QUICKLY AND VERY LOYAL. LISTENS GREAT, RETRIEVING WELL, FULL OF LIFE. DON,T LEAVE FOOD ON THE SINK THOUGH. THE QUAIL ARE READY AND I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO SHOWING HER BIRDS AS SOON AS THIS HEAT WAVE PASSES. THE WEISSES WERE GREAT PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE PROCESS FROM MY FIRST INQUIRY TO DELIVERY. I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT.. OCTOBER AUTUMN CLAIRE IS GOING TO BE A GREAT BIRD DOG AND HUNTING COMPANION FOR MY GRANDSON AND I. CAN’T WAIT TILL FALL.
